On Wednesday, May 9th 2001, over twenty military, intelligence, government, corporate and scientific witnesses will come forward at the National Press Club in Washington, DC to establish the reality of UFOs or extraterrestrial vehicles, extraterrestrial life forms, and resulting advanced energy and propulsion technologies. The weight of this first-hand testimony, along with supporting government documentation and other evidence, will establish without any doubt the reality of these phenomena, according to Dr. Steven M. Greer, director of the Disclosure Project which is hosting the event. 

The Disclosure Project, a non-profit research organization, is calling for open Congressional hearings on the UFO/Extraterrestrial presence, and for legislation that will ban space-based weapons. Congressional hearings were last held in 1968 by the House Science and Astronautics Committee (90th Congress, 2nd Session, Committee Print No. 7. "Symposium on Unidentified Flying Objects.")

The Project has identified several hundred witnesses throughout the world and spanning every branch of the armed services, the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), DIA, CIA, NASA, Russia. UK, and other agencies and countries. Over 100 have been videotaped; 70 have been transcribed into edited testimony. Videotaped summary of the testimony and an in-depth briefing document with witness transcripts will be available at the press conference. 

Among the witnesses attending the event are: John Callahan, former Division Chief of the Accidents and Investigations Branch, FAA; Master Sergeant Dan Morris, former US Air Force and NRO operative with cosmic top secret clearance; Dr. Carol Rosin, space missile defense consultant and former spokesperson for Wernher Von Braun; Major George A. Filer III, former Air Force Intelligence; Graham Bethune, retired Navy commander pilot with a top-secret clearance; Michael Smith, former Air Traffic Controller, US Air Force; Sergeant Clifford Stone, United States Army; Lt. Col. Robert Salas, former SAC Launch Controller, US Air Force and FAA. 

Participants in this phase of the disclosure effort are asking for Congressional, White House and UN action to allow witnesses to testify under oath in open hearings. The group is requesting a Presidential Executive Order to protect witnesses afraid of violating security oaths and to declassify documents and secret projects for the benefit of all world citizens. 

"These testimonies establish once and for all that we are not alone. Technologies related to extraterrestrial phenomena are capable of providing solutions to the global energy crisis, and other environmental and security challenges," says Dr. Greer. 

The Disclosure team and selected witnesses will be meeting with members of Congress and conducting briefings to address these issues and call for legislation.

• Senior FAA Official Blows Whistle on UFO Event and Cover-Up

A senior FAA official who was division chief for Accidents and Investigations at the FAA during the Reagan years has come forward to disclose FAA knowledge and subsequent CIA suppression of a major encounter with an enormous UFO over Alaska in 1986.

John Callahan states that a huge UFO, reported by the pilot of a Japan Airlines 747, was tracked on radar for over half an hour by both FAA and military radar and that a subsequent briefing involving the CIA, FBI and Reagan science team resulted in the event being suppressed and evidence taken by the CIA. 

Mr. Callahan and more than 20 other government and military insiders and witnesses to UFO and extraterrestrial events will be presenting their testimony on May 9 at the National Press Club as part of The Disclosure Project's  efforts to get the truth out about UFOs, extraterrestrial intelligence and government secrecy surrounding the subject.
 

•  Military Witnesses to Disclose Details of Extraterrestrial Landings and Classified Military Retrievals of Extraterrestrial Spacecraft and Life Forms

The testimony of numerous, corroborating witnesses to UFO landing and crash-retrieval events will be presented at the National Press Club on May 9.  Witnesses, government documents and other evidence related to several landing and crash-retrieval operations by highly classified projects proves that we are not alone and that highly compartmented operations within the US and elsewhere have kept this secret for several decades.  Ranging from the testimony of American hero and astronaut Gordon Cooper whose team filmed a UFO landing at Edwards Air Force Base to Air Force security officer Larry Warren who witnessed an extraterrestrial vehicle land at Bentwaters Air Force Base in England in 1980, the testimony will support that we are not alone and that hard proof exists of extraterrestrial visitation. 

An eight year investigation by The Disclosure Project  has identified around 400 military and government witnesses to UFO and extraterrestrial events and projects and is calling on Congress to hold immediate open hearings on the matter.
 
 

•  Air Force Officers to Testify that UFOs Are Concerned with Nuclear Weapons 

Numerous, corroborating Air Force and other military officers will present their testimony at the National Press Club on May 9 establishing that Strategic Air Command and other nuclear facilities have repeatedly been visited by UFOs. Lt. Col Robert Salas, Lt. Col. Arneson and Col. Ross Diedrickson, among others, have testified in taped interviews with The Disclosure Project that US and foreign nuclear facilities have been visited by extraterrestrial vehicles that apparently are concerned with human warfare and weapons of mass destruction. While not being hostile themselves, these UFOs apparently have shown US authorities that they are quite concerned with our nuclear weapons and on at least 2 occasions have rendered multiple Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBMs) temporarily unusable. 

The Disclosure Project will present testimony from these and nearly 70 additional military and government witnesses to UFO and extraterrestrial projects and events during the May 9, 2001 press conference at the National Press Club in Washington. 
 

•  Independent Government Witnesses Testify that NASA and Secret US Programs Have Evidence of Extraterrestrial Visitations

Several former government and military employees will testify that NASA and classified US projects have evidence of UFOs and extraterrestrial objects. The Disclosure Project has interviewed and taped the testimony of witnesses to UFO encounters by NASA and Apollo missions that have previously been kept secret.  Karl Wolfe, an Air Force military Sergeant who had a top secret crypto clearance saw photographs taken by the Lunar Orbiter that clearly showed artificial structures on the Moon prior to the 1969 moon landing.  His testimony is independently corroborated by Air Force security officer Larry Warren who saw film footage of UFOs and structures on the moon during a debriefing at Bentwaters Air Force base in England following a  UFO landing there in 1980. 
 

• Former Spokesperson for Werner Von Braun, Space Pioneer, Testifies that Space Based Weapons to Be Rationalized by Hoaxed Extraterrestrial Threat

Dr. Carol Rosin, former spokesperson for Werner Von Braun, will be present at a May 9 National Press Club conference to testify that the early space pioneer warned of the dangers of space-based weapons and that covert programs were planning to eventually justify them by manufacturing a threat from outer 
space which does not exist.

Dr. Rosin will join over 20 military, government and other witnesses to UFO and extraterrestrial events at The Disclosure Project's upcoming press conference. The group is calling for immediate, open congressional hearings on the subject and legislation to permanently ban weapons from space. 
 

• Numerous Independent Military and Civilian Radar Operators Testify That UFOs Are Real and Have Repeatedly Been Tracked on Radar

Military and civilian radar operators and a senior FAA official during the Reagan years will testify that UFOs have been repeatedly tracked on radar, are real, solid objects and that this information has been systematically suppressed by US authorities for decades.  Col. Charles Brown, USAF, Commander Graham Bethune, USN, Mr. John Callahan, FAA senior official, Enrique Kolbek, senior air traffic controller Mexico City Airport,  Franklin Carter, USN and others will present testimony on May 9 at the National Press Club Ballroom. Their testimony and related evidence proves that radar has repeatedly tracked UFOs going thousands of miles per hours and making maneuvers outside the envelope of any known human aircraft.
